American Pixar's Mike Wolff reveals major career milestones away from the show

American Pickers’ Mike Wolfe discusses his career away from the show and hints at many new things coming in the future following the conclusion of his last antique car exhibition of the year.

Mike Wolfe, star of American Pickers, has hinted that his life is about to undergo significant changes. The star of the show that airs on the History Channel has hinted that he may be ending his reality television program as well.

Mike held the most recent iteration of his Colombia Cars and Coffee Festival during the past weekend in the city of Columbia, Tennessee. The 59-year-old later disclosed that it would be his final appearance of the current campaign.

The official Instagram page for the monthly festival describes it as bringing together like-minded gearheads along with cars, coffee, and music. Every occasion is held on the third Saturday of the month in front of Mike’s Columbia Motor Alley antique shop in the Central Business District of Columbia.

The star of American Pickers uploaded a picture to his Instagram account from the event that took place this past weekend, which boasted the highest attendance to date. “Thank you so much to everyone for making this the biggest Columbia Cars and Coffee event we’ve ever had — over 400 vehicles,” he stated in the caption of the photo. “We feel very blessed that the car community has supported this event along with the people of Columbia, Tennessee.”

After that, Mike continued in a coded manner by saying, “Excited for many new things coming Al’s way from Columbia Motor Alley.”

Mike had already dropped hints about the vehicle exhibition in a video that he posted on Instagram, in which he discussed his most recent professional development. In the video, Mike could be seen strolling around his remodeled garage at his antique shop in Tennessee.

The star of American Pickers appeared in the video wearing a green button-down shirt and tan slacks, and there were classic cars visible in the backdrop of the clip. The television celebrity revealed that this coming Saturday would be the final Cars and Coffee event to take place in the Columbia area. Throughout the summer, events took place at Mike’s business, allowing fans of the show to enjoy food, drink, and cars in Mike’s antique store.

Mike, as he walked towards the camera, remarked, “So this Saturday will be the last Cars and Coffee event of this season in Columbia, Tennessee. We’ve had Colt Persona coffee, we’ve got Loose Wheels food truck, and we’ve got Martini Shakers playing. But there’s something else going on right across the street, and that’s the big blue picking party.”

“Okay, so in a nutshell, what you have there is a flea market that is so cool. All of these events are occurring simultaneously in the same location at the same time. Bring the whole gang along. There is a lot happening right now.”

Mike finished his statement by flashing a grin for the camera and saying, “Again, this isn’t just the Cars and Coffee; it is an event. I look forward to seeing you there.”

The end is getting closer. While Mike considers whether or not to quit his job on American Pickers, he is confronted with the possibility of exciting new opportunities.

The United States Sun was informed by a close friend of Mike’s that he was ready to retire from the reality show. After 58-year-old Frank Fritz left the hit show on the History Channel, the show’s ratings plummeted to an all-time low. An insider who is close to the program’s lead told The United States Sun in the beginning of September, “I don’t know how long the show will last. I have no idea how much longer Mike and Robbie plan to continue doing this. My guess is that they would enjoy retiring at some point in the future. It’s been a whole dozen years.”

His companion went on to say, “It’s going to put a strain on your life. They have been doing this for a very long time. When they are around, it seems like, ‘Ah, we’re back out on the road. I don’t have time to do this, and I don’t have time to do that,’ they would say.”

The insider concluded, “It’s a love-hate relationship, just like any other job. It’s true that there are times when you don’t wish you had that job and could just do whatever you pleased. On certain days, you really become pumped up about the work that you do.”
