The Georgia native has a sweet relationship with the child and shares photos of their time together on social media including beach trips and holiday baking. The reality star, who is also the father of Lindsay, Kyle, Savannah, Chase, and Grayson, expresses his gratitude to God every day for Chloe. In April 2020, he said of his granddaughter, “She brings joy to all of us.”

The clock is ticking examine his special bond with Chloe and the circumstances surrounding her adoption on “Chrisley Knows Best.” Whose daughter is Chloe Chrisley? Well, in a nutshell, Chloe is Todd’s eldest son Kyle Chrisley’s daughter. Todd revealed to E news in 2014 that Kyle is bipolar and normally people who are bipolar seek out a way to self-medicate which is what Kyle has done since he was young. “I only want the best for him.” Kyle has previously sought treatment for his drug addiction.

Did Todd adopt Chloe? Well, as a result of Kyle’s struggle with mental illness and run-ins with the law, Todd and his wife Julie Chrisley have full custody of Chloe. Kyle was arrested in Oklahoma in May 2019 for possession of methamphetamine and the charges against him, however, were dropped. Chloe did not appear on the show for seasons four and five because Kyle and Todd were involved in a legal battle in 2014. Kyle accused his father of abusing Chloe to boost ratings on the show and claimed Todd didn’t want anything to do with her until he realized that having a mixed-race child would be good for his demographic. Todd denied these accusations, saying, “That’s most likely the most hurtful part of the article. I’m not going to concentrate on Kyle’s story because he’s my son and I adore him.”

Chloe returned to the show after a brief absence. What is Chloe Chrisley’s mother’s name? Kyle fathered the child in 2012 with a woman named Angela Johnson. Angela had her fair share of legal troubles as well. According to an arrest warrant obtained by Life & Style in 2016, she was caught claiming Chloe as a dependent to defraud Medicaid and food stamps, despite the fact that Todd has full legal custody of the little girl. The South Carolina attorney general’s office spokesman Robert Kittle said Johnson’s case was resolved, and she was eligible to have the charges expunged from her records as of 2017. A recent search for Johnson’s charges turned up nothing. Angela has remained under the radar, and her Twitter page was last updated in 2016 with many adorable pictures of her and Chloe. Her Twitter bio reads, “I have a beautiful baby girl who I will do anything for and love dearly.”

How will Todd and Julie Chrisley’s conviction for fraud affect Chloe? Their case went to trial in May 2022 after they were indicted on 12 counts of fraud in February. Todd and Julie, who maintained their innocence, were found guilty on all counts on June 7th. The pair, who expressed disappointment with the verdict, now face up to 30 years in prison. Todd was found guilty of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States, tax fraud, and wire fraud. Julie was found guilty of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States, tax fraud, and wire fraud. It’s unclear whether the court will order that they serve their sentences separately and staggered, but if not, Chloe could be released by close family members.

Lindsay Chrisley recently stated that she was able to reconnect with her father Todd Chrisley following their estrangement. Family comes first. Lindsay, star of “Chrisley Knows Best,” opened up about her rekindled relationship with her father after being estranged for years. The two were able to reconnect after she divorced her ex-husband Will Campbell in July 2021 in an attempt to re-strengthen their bond. According to the reality star, Lindsay’s podcast “The Southern Tea” revealed that she had been bombarded with questions about why she and her father decided to turn a new leaf in their relationship. Fans believed they’d reunited after Todd was convicted in June 2022 of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States, and tax fraud. Lindsay explained, “I can tell you confidently that there was no reconnection for any legal reason. Nothing like that has ever happened.”

The South Carolina native explained that she did not tell her family about the divorce and instead let them find out when the news broke. Surprisingly, the patriarch of the famous family posted a sweet message to Lindsay during the difficult time, but she couldn’t see it because her dad had blocked her on Instagram. “After the details of my divorce became public, my father posted, ‘I’m here and I love you. Whatever is going on in your life right now, I see it. I’m arranging things for your benefit.’ There’s nothing you can do or have done, my child, that would make me love you less. I will do everything I can to protect you from anyone or anything who tries to harm you or your reputation. Nothing will ever exhaust me because I’m stronger than depression and anxiety and braver than loneliness. I promise you that I will never abandon you or forsake you. I’m blowing a fresh breeze into and over you right now. Look for the favors and blessings I’m sending your way during this season because they’re from me. I adore you.”

She continued, “That’s really how we were able to reconnect. So to answer your question, it was most definitely because of my divorce.” Lindsay and Todd’s turbulent relationship has been revealed to fans, particularly during their previous legal battles. According to E! News, the podcaster filed a police report against the real estate broker in 2019 for threatening and harassing her. According to the report, Todd and her step-brother Chase Chrisley wanted her to lie about an incident, and if she refused, they were going to release a sex tape involving her. Robbie Hayes, a “Bachelorette” alum who was involved in the alleged adult film, later broke his silence in August 2019, claiming that he and Lindsay did not consent to the making of a sex tape. “I’m not standing there with a camera aimed down trying to get angles. Basically, we got caught under the security camera,” he explained on “The Housewives and Vanderpump” podcast at the time. The couch we crashed on had a puppy camera in her friend’s living room.

According to a 2021 statement to Entertainment Tonight, Todd denied the accusations and even went so far as to say it was used to gain social media followers. “She’s our daughter and I’ll tell you the anger has been there for a long time,” he added. “Revenge and anger are the devil’s domains, so I walked with the devil for a brief moment. I danced with the devil.” According to Howard Baker, a spokesperson for the Cherokee County Sheriff’s department at the time, the filing was closed later that year because the incident did not occur in their jurisdiction.

Todd was found guilty of bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States, and tax fraud. Julie was found guilty of bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States, tax fraud, and wire fraud. The pair are still free on bond and have been ordered to participate in a home detention program and abide by all program requirements, which shall include the use of electronic monitoring equipment or other location verification systems. Their sentencing date has yet to be set.

Other Chrisley family members spoke out about Todd and Julie’s guilty verdict. In the aftermath of their legal troubles, Savannah Chrisley, their daughter, opened up about her life post-storm on Instagram on Wednesday, June 22nd. She wrote, “I’m grateful to those who chose to love and love deeply no matter how difficult it may be. I’m grateful in an odd way because I know there’s God who creates everything out of nothing.” Savannah expressed her gratitude and urged fans to continue to “love on my family and I during the difficult time,” similar to her father’s request for prayers.
