Home without both of my parents, that’s what the chances are, that’s the likelihood, and that’s my new normal. I come home Tuesday, and I have custody of a 16-year-old and a 10-year-old, and we spend our first Thanksgiving not as a family. Savannah Chrisley describes what life would be like for her family after Todd and Julie Chrisley are sentenced. The reality star gave an interview on a fresh episode of her Podcast Unlocked, which was recorded before her parents, Todd and Julie, received prison terms.

She said something about the custody of her ten-year-old niece and her 16-year-old brother, Grayson, during the tear-jerking episode titled “By the Time You Hear This.” So exactly what did she say? Who will get custody? Will it be Lindsay or Savannah? And who actually wants custody? Stay to the end of the video to know everything.

On Monday’s episode of her Podcast Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley, Savannah Chrisley said she was going to adopt her niece, Chloe, 10, and her brother, Grayson, 16. The 25-year-old reality TV personality talked about the potential of becoming a legal guardian prior to the news that both of her parents had been found guilty of crimes like bank fraud and tax evasion and received hefty jail sentences.

“Four days before I appeared in court,” the former pageant queen said, “it’s just so hard to sit here. I have no idea what will become of me or my family. I realize that the short term is going to be incredibly difficult and that I might not be able to return home with both of my parents,” she continued. “That’s the likelihood, what the odds are, and that is my new normal.”

The Georgian actress, who gained fame through her appearances on Chrisley Knows Best from 2014 to 2016, broke down in tears as she considered the thought of rearing her sister and niece. While the two will not start their term until January 15, 2023, Savannah voiced concern that they would not be able to enjoy their first Thanksgiving as a family and would instead return home on Tuesday with custody of a 16-year-old. “I have custody of a 10-year-old,” Savannah then expressed regret about Grayson and Chloe having to wonder where their parents are.

“I think the most difficult thing is navigating how to teach two youngsters who aren’t completely formed yet, and then even how to handle the situation,” she remarked of her show. “That’s a pretty difficult thing.” Later, she continued, “I have to be a good role model for Chloe and Grayson. I have to turn up no matter how difficult it becomes for the sake of their suicidal adolescence.”

Todd and Julie reportedly asked a judge recently not to throw them in jail. They intended to appeal the sentences, and their attorney, Bruce Morris, told DailyMail.com on a recent Tuesday morning. The most recent time was when Savannah used Instagram to support her parents. She shared a verse from Twitter preacher Kimberly Jones that said, “Noah didn’t stop building the ark to explain himself to everyone who doubted and hated him. Keep building your ark; the rain will do the talking.”

Her sister, Lindsay Chrisley, who had been estranged from her well-known father but had lately made amends with him, shared a selfie on social media of herself with a bottle of champagne that her girlfriends had brought to her house to cheer her up, as well as quoting Matthew 7:1-3. Their brother Kyle urged his followers not to judge the pair, stating that any misconduct was the fault of a disgruntled employee and disputed any allegations of fraud. The court had been informed by that employee that he and Todd were having a sexual relationship.

The Chrisleys had created an empire based on the fabrication that their success was the result of hard work and dedication. The unanimous verdict from the jury sets the record straight: Todd and Julie Chrisley are career fraudsters who have made a fortune by switching between schemes, lying to the banks, stiffing vendors, and dodging taxes at every turn, prosecutor Annalize Peters said.

In a $3.4 million house in Nashville, Tennessee, Todd and Julie reside. They also own land in Georgia, where they were prosecuted. Since 2014, they’ve marketed themselves as a holier-than-thou family and have participated in a number of reality TV programs and their offshoots. But what eventually put them on the radar of the prosecution was their desire for the spotlight. They declared bankruptcy in 2014 before the concert, stating $50 million in obligations. At the time, Todd’s attorney asserted that he personally guaranteed a business loan as the cause. They relocated from their Georgia home to a smaller house in Nashville, where a large portion of the show was shot.

Their fame is unrelated to many of the counts that they were charged with. After her parents were sentenced, Savannah Chrisley disclosed that she had custody of her niece, Chloe, and her brother, Grayson. “I have custody of a 16-year-old and a 10-year-old when I return home on Tuesday, and we spent our first Thanksgiving apart from our families,” the founder of Sassy Cosmetics started crying and said that she’s never been apart from her family during the holidays. The hardest aspect of her mother and father’s court battle, according to Savannah, was taking custody of Grayson, 16, and Chloe, 10.

Later in the episode, she explained to her audience, “I’m trying to negotiate how to teach two younger children who aren’t fully grown yet and get them to grasp the conditions. That is a tremendously incredibly challenging task. They need love and hugs more than anything right now,” the former reality star vowed to give to the children.

She made no mention of the recent car accident that caused Grayson to be hospitalized earlier this month and involved her younger brother. Prior to their parents’ hearing, the younger brother of the Sassy by Savannah creator was recently injured in an automobile accident. Grayson’s parents were sentenced on November 21, and the accident happened on November 12. Grayson was involved in a terrible vehicle accident on the freeway, and we received the phone call that we needed to get to him, Todd stated on his Chrisley Confessions podcast on November 17.

“He was on the highway when I sprinted out of the house and, you know, leaped in the car,” according to accounts. Grayson crashed into the rear of a stopped car and may have suffered a head injury because he was unable to recall the incident. The highway patrol was present, Todd continued, and there were long lines of vehicles on the road. “He had totaled his car. I recall seeing Grayson on the stretcher in the back of that ambulance and seeing him sobbing, and the police stopped to speak to me before they took me to him, and all I could think of was thank God because he was alive and crying,” Todd recalled. “Then they asked me if I wanted to accompany him to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, but I replied that I was staying put. I’ll stay with him till he takes me home. I thus recall holding his hand and comforting him. It will be all right.”

Following their conviction for tax fraud and evasion, Todd and Julie received a combined sentence of 19 years in jail, with the patriarch receiving 12 years and his wife receiving seven. Later we shall go into more details regarding this.

The couple, who was convicted in June, is also the mother and father of Chase, a 26-year-old boy. In addition, Todd and his ex-wife, Teresa Terry, have a 31-year-old son, Kyle, who is the father of Todd’s daughter, Chloe, and a 33-year-old daughter, Lindsay. Over the years, Kyle has battled drug addiction and mental disorders, and in 2016, Todd and Julie were granted full custody of Kyle’s child with his ex-girlfriend, Angela Johnson. The next year, Todd told US Weekly, “Chloe is our family. We’re pleased that the world may witness such a lovely child develop, explore, and wonderfully emerge into herself through love and respect.”

On Monday, Lindsay published an Instagram story showing her pals bringing her Ugg boots and champagne during her hard times. Kyle, Chase, and Grayson have yet to respond to the pair’s punishment on social media. Savannah, on the other hand, reposted a verse from the Bible that we had previously discussed.

Todd and the South Carolina native also have two more children together, Chase, 26, and Grayson, 16. The real estate billionaire and his ex-wife, Theresa Terry, are the parents of Kyle, 31, and Lindsay, 33. Despite Kyle’s personal difficulties, Todd was granted custody of his ten-year-old granddaughter, Chloe, in 2013. In 2019, Todd and Julie were charged with conspiracy, bank and wire fraud, and tax evasion on 12 counts. In a long statement at the time, Todd refuted the allegations, claiming that their former employee, Mark Braddock, had brought fake documents to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in an effort to exact revenge on him and his wife.

The three reality shows that include the family, Chrisley Knows Best, Growing Up Chrisley, and Love Demo, were apparently canceled by USA Network as a result of the announcement of the couple’s imprisonment. According to Deadline, Chrisley Knows Best, which debuted in 2014, will conclude in 2023 with a reduced 10th season including episodes that were shot before the two were found guilty of fraud. Todd and Julie were mindful of their young children throughout their Monday sentence. After
