American Pickers rage no way after guests reject $75,000 offer on rare Mustang as Mike Wolf says it doesn’t make sense. Hello everyone, my name is Alana B, welcome back to my another video. Fans have complained about the show quite a bit lately as ratings have been up and down.

American Pickers star Mike Wolf’s recent find has fans scratching their heads after guests turned down a hopping $775,000 offer. Clips from the episode were shared on the American Pickers Facebook page showing Mike, 60, and his CoStar John “Jersey John” Chalet, 60, negotiating a deal for a rare Mustang. In one, the duo are pumped as they head to an Alabama Barn where the owner of a 1967 Shelby Mustang stored the vehicle. Their excitement only increased when they arrived to see the vintage car, which Mike gushed was nearly impossible to find given only 2,000 of them had been made.

The guests revealed they paid $3,700 for the car in 1983, though they hoped to sell it for a much higher price. After further inspecting the vehicle and consulting with a vintage car expert, Mike and John discovered that restoring it would cost more than $100,000, which lessened the car’s value. However, the owners were determined to make a hefty profit and revealed they rejected two previous offers of $75,000, the same number that Mike was prepared to offer.

Ultimately, the owners refused to give up the car for that price, and the group went their separate ways. Viewers were stunned by the exchange as they felt a $75,000 price tag for the car was more than reasonable. “They better jump on the $75,000,” one fan suggested in the comments. “Definitely worth saving, but no way I pay 75,” another remarked. “Worth way more than 10, just not 75,” weighed in a third.

Fans have been sharing their frustrations with the show a lot lately as the ratings haven’t stayed consistent for some time. Despite concerns about the show’s future, Mike, John, and Mike’s brother Robbie Wolf, 63, have been filming new episodes on the road.

Earlier this week, Robbie revealed when fans can finally expect the season 26 premiere after a months-long break. Robbie shared the news in an Instagram post, including a photo of him surrounded by the show’s film crew. In his caption, he teased that they were taping new episodes ahead of the new season premiere on October 15th.

Days before, John told fans that the group was filming for the show in the Midwest. It was a relief for devoted fans who feared the long-running series might be nearing its end. A close pal of Mike’s previously revealed to the US Sun that Mike and Robbie were considering retirement. However, that doesn’t appear to be happening anytime soon as the US Sun exclusively reported in May that American Pickers was renewed for three more seasons.

The History Channel series originally starred Mike, Danielle Colby, 48, and Frank Fritz, 58. Robbie joined the team in 2020 after Frank’s firing, and John signed on last year, seemingly in an effort to boost ratings.
