Within the context of an episode clip, Robbie Wolf of American Pickers has been seen spending $2,600 on a rare dune buggy. During the time that fans are waiting for new episodes of American Pickers, the throwback clip was released on the Facebook page of the History Channel series. The film shows Robbie, who is 57 years old, and Jersey John, who is 61 years old, paying a visit to a brother and sister in Michigan. The brother’s late father had a sizable collection of antiques stored in his barn.

During their search for goods within the barn, the stars of American Pickers and their brother ran came across an antique dune buggy that was gathering dust. Robbie explained, “You can’t think of California in the 1960s without even considering Beach culture.” He proceeded by saying the cars at the time were getting bogged down and stuck in the sand. It was in 1964 when Bruce Meyers created the Myers Manx, which is considered to be the very first dune buggy.

Robbie referred to the Myers Manx as a lightweight kit car since it was capable of being transported to any location. “You ordered the body and put it on a car,” he disclosed. “I saw you do it,” Jersey John stated. “It’s on a Volkswagen chassis, right?” John, whose real name is John Chalet, inquired regarding the vehicle’s chassis while his co-star examined the body.

“Volkswagen are responsible for everything. 79% of these items were manufactured by Volkswagen,” it was disclosed by Robbie. They designed them based on that chassis. During the announcement that Robbie made, John pointed to a character that appeared in The Thomas Crown Affair with Steve McQueen. Robbie then stated, “Unfortunately, this is not the Manx. The Imp is shown here.”

A business known as Empi was responsible for producing that, and although it was a knockoff, it was still incredibly cool and valuable if it was constructed properly. “I always remember it as the dune buggy,” Ryan recounted. “I cannot forget it. What time are we going to get the dune buggy out of the garage?”

Robbie indicated that the Imp would be worth approximately $8,500 if it were running, but he added, “It’s going to take some doing to get it there.” This statement was made later after Ryan’s sister had entered the negotiation. “All of these items are still going to need to be done by me, including the tires, the brakes, the gas tank, and a tuneup performed on it.”

In the process of lowering the price, Robbie made the announcement that the item had been sitting since 1970. The fact that he acknowledged that the dune buggy was put together right is a positive aspect before making an offer of $2,500. The response from the sister was to set the price of the sale at $3,000, which resulted in Robbie’s price going up by $100. Robbie was greeted with a smile, and she looked at her brother before saying, “I believe that will work.” After taking a high five with John, Robbie proceeded to shake hands with the other members of the family.

Monday was the day that Jersey John and Robbie’s brother Mike Wolf, who is 60 years old, released a video of themselves attempting to start a motorcycle that is 109 years old. Mike uploaded a video to his Instagram stories that showed him and his co-star from American Pickers attempting to bring back to life a 1915 Indian Motorcycle. “When all else fails, blow in the gas tank,” was the caption that was attached to the posted image. The reality TV stars were seen on camera making multiple attempts to start the Indian motorcycle that was sputtering and stubbornly refusing to start.

Jersey John stated, at the same time as Mike was holding the bike in an upright and solid position, John could be seen hopping on the ratcheting lever in an attempt to stimulate the engine. Someone cried out of the corner of their eye, “It needs more gas.” “Mike, blow on it again,” said a different observer who was present.

John, who was 61 years old at the time, made a joke about how “this is the way we do on American Pickers.” Mike stepped to the side of the bike and blew gas inside the gas tank. He attempted to start the engine by kicking a lever once more while in control of the throttle, and this time the engine started.

Getting back on track, Robbie Wolf, who is 57 years old and Mike’s brother, has disclosed the launch of the new season. During the previous season, fans have continued to demand fresh episodes of the History Channel show. In the previous month, Robbie shared on Instagram a photograph that he had taken of himself and the film crew of the show resting on the porch of a rustic cabin. “We are currently filming another new season of American Pickers,” he captioned the posted image after revealing that the launch date of the upcoming season will be on October 15.

The Pickers actor added, “See you soon.” An ecstatic supporter remarked, “Can’t wait,” in the comment thread in response to the article. An additional person remarked, “Woohoo.” Just a few days ago, Jersey John informed fans that the cast and crew of Pickers were in the awesome Midwest filming all new episodes.

Robbie’s revelation comes just a few days after what Jersey John said. The news was shared by John through a post on his Instagram account. The message that accompanied it read, “Get your motor running,” and it was accompanied by a video that looped and showed a motorcycle engine. A brand new season follows the confirmation by Mike, the creator of American Pickers, that the series has been renewed despite the decline in ratings during season 25.

The updates have been delivered in a touching message that he made on Instagram a month ago. The television star conveyed his gratitude to the show’s production crew while also revealing that they had resumed their journey to film fresh episodes. On July 24, Mike posted a charming behind-the-scenes snapshot on his account in which he posed alongside John and other members of the crew. He shared with his followers that “some of the people in this shot have been working with me for 16 years,” and he went on to say, “We have watched each other grow and evolve in so many beautiful ways.”

As he continued, he formally confirmed that the series was going to return for its 26th season. “All of this reflection comes from me signing another contract today to do another season of American Pickers,” he said. Following the conclusion of season 25 earlier this year, Mike, his brother Robbie, John, and their fellow co-star Danielle Colby embarked on a journey to film fresh episodes of the long-running series.

The launch of the season earned the lowest ratings in years, according to numbers that were obtained exclusively from the United States Sun media outlet. A total of 723,000 viewers tuned in to watch the first episode of the premiere, which was titled “Classic Car Cemetery.” However, the number of viewers who watched the second episode, titled “Hidden Cash Stack,” plummeted to 676,000. In comparison, the premiere of season 24 was watched by 943,000 viewers, which indicates a dip in ratings of roughly 25%.
