In response to his ambitious revitalization of a sleepy Tennessee town, Mike Wolf, who plays the role of American Picker, is receiving criticism. It is a well-known fact that the people who live in Columbia, Tennessee, have a variety of opinions regarding the numerous alterations and expansions of businesses that the History Channel star has brought to the mule capital of the world. In the town, located approximately 45 miles outside of Nashville, Mike, who is 60 years old, has increased the size of his real estate portfolio by purchasing a number of properties. These properties include his Two Lanes vacation rental and Columbia Motor Alley, which is a bike shop.

In June, the United States Sun published an exclusive report that showed the American Picker star had added another commercial property to his real estate empire. The transaction took place in December 2023 and cost him $400,000. The building was constructed in 1920 and has a total area of 1,240 square feet. A local source told the United States Sun in an exclusive interview that “it’s kind of interesting because a lot of people don’t want change, and some people do, so we’re in that flux.” Mike is bringing new businesses to Columbia, and the insider gave this statement: They continued by saying, “They are building a six-story condo with a restaurant.” This was in reference to the construction taking place on the property adjacent to Columbia Motor Alley, where a parking lot is scheduled to be located.

The town is changing rapidly, according to a source who spoke to the United States Sun. The project is costing $93 million, and while some residents appear reluctant to change, others are enthusiastic about the sudden boost to the economy. “Mike is taking this on to help bring new life to Columbia,” the insider stated. The town is happy that Mike is taking this on. Another commercial property that Mike owns in Columbia, Tennessee, features a total area of 4,320 square feet and is valued at $214,100, as indicated by property documents obtained by the United States Sun. The company’s business description states “Boutique music systems for hospitality and home.” The facility is rented out to Hazelwood Laboratories.

Along with being the proprietor of Mu Town Coffee, Mike also owns a property that is 2,900 square feet in size and valued at $92,700. One of Mike’s properties, which is 4,653 square feet in size and has an appraised value of $336,500, is rented out to a drama theater establishment known as Packard Playhouse. Additionally, he owns a commercial property that is 6,279 square feet in size and is rented out to Tre Bicycle Store Columbia. The property is valued at $446,400. Two Lanes Guest House, which is Mike’s holiday rental, is included in the square footage. One of the apartments is located on the upper floor.

Columbia Motor Alley is the moniker that the television personality gave to the former Chevrolet dealership that he purchased. This property was acquired in November 2017 for $400,000 and is currently estimated to be worth $777,400. The enormous edifice spans a total area of 13,440 square feet. According to a source close to Mike, who spoke to the United States Sun in the past, “It was a building used for car restoration before Mike Wolf purchased it. He has workers in the garage part who are responsible for repairing bicycles and other items.” Mike is displaying his automobiles and motorcycles in this location during the course of the episode. He has discovered antiques, automobiles, motorcycles, and bicycles inside. There is a retail establishment offering various products, including shirts, hats, oil cans, mugs, and more.

According to a recent story in the United States Sun, Mike purchased a property that will be converted into a restaurant, and construction on the exterior of the building has been finished. The property was purchased by Mike on September 15, 2022, for $600,000. The entrance of the restaurant is adorned with a wooden pergola illuminated by lights, gray pavers, and a fire pit area. A bar and other performances will be located directly across from the brick fire pit. During that time, a source stated to the United States Sun, “It is going to be a restaurant. Pizza, Coke, and other similar items are going to be sold by them.” A pergola, a fire pit, and a stage for karaoke are all being constructed by construction workers in front of the structure.

As new enterprises have started to emerge all throughout Columbia, it would appear that Mike’s investment in the city is beginning to yield positive results. On March 30th, Prime and Pint Butchery and Public House, a restaurant and butcher shop located next door to Mike’s ESO service station, opened. The painted brick building is characterized by enormous windows spread across its lengthy front and antique-style lamps mounted above them. Inside the restaurant, there is a bar and an open floor layout available to patrons. On Saturday, March 30th, the ESO reopened its doors to the public. The Facebook page for the restaurant described the establishment as “Reviving Culinary Heritage.”

This was also the day that Build A Donut Bakery, popularly known as BAD Bakery, opened its doors to the public, with the intention of redefining the donut experience. BAD Bakery is getting started, and according to its website, “We don’t just serve donuts; we empower you to build your own decadent creations.” The establishment, founded in 2023, is a new and forward-thinking addition to the culinary scene in the quaint town. When asked about the ongoing building, a source told the United States Sun, “The town is changing rapidly. The shift is something that some members of the community are excited about, while others are opposed to it.”
