Therefore, he must ask them to respect the fact that they aren’t currently authorized to discuss it. A moment will come when everything will be discussed. They did want to appear on the show and let everyone know that their family is going through a very challenging and painful period right now, but despite everything, they remain loyal to their faith and have faith in God’s abilities to perform miracles. Todd said God has a purpose and the truth will come out. God has given me that inner peace and he’s given me the full understanding of no one needs to believe our truth as long as we know it. He added revealing he and Julie have become closer after what they went through. Despite being disappointed by the verdict, Julie Chrisley mostly let her beloved husband handle their current situation. However, she expresses her appreciation for the support and the prayers they receive from their audiences. Let us tell you that Julie Chrisley was found guilty of wire fraud and obstruction of justice. Let’s now have a glance at the accusations against the couple. The family was betrayed as your typical normal wealthy neighbors who live next door. The issue was that only people weren’t watching the Chrisley’s latest exploits as guilty entertainment. IRS and DOJ agents were also watching. Todd told an IRS agent that he didn’t have the money to pay his 2009 tax due after spending more than seven thousand dollars at an electronic store and two thousand dollars at a luxury retail store and thousands of dollars at department and clothes stores. Documents filed in court state that the agents took note.

The IRS discovered that Todd from 2013 to 2016 did not submit his tax returns on time or pay his income tax. The reality TV pair was found guilty by a federal jury in Atlanta of running a multi-year plan to get 30 million dollars in loans from the neighborhood banks using fictitious financial records and utilizing the borrowed money to live luxuriously. According to the Internal Revenue Service, the pair hid the funds through a film production company they owned so that Todd Chrisley’s overdue taxes could not be collected. A year after declaring bankruptcy and evading payment on 20 million dollars in unpaid loans, Todd Chrisley and his wife were named the show’s stars. The jury got to know that the couple and their accountant Peter Tarantino continued to conceal their riches from the IRS, which was due more than five hundred thousand dollars in Todd Chrisley’s 2009 taxes.

The Chrisleys were each charged with five counts of bank fraud, one count of conspiracy to defraud the United States, one count of tax fraud, and one count of conspiracy to conduct bank fraud. One case of wire fraud and one count of obstructing justice were also brought against Julie Chrisley. Furthermore, other people from their side also gave their reactions to the depicted verdict. Mark Braddock, a co-owner of Todd Chrisley’s real estate foreclosure company Chrisley Asset Management, testified to the FBI and a judge that he had fabricated paperwork to submit to banks on the Chrisley’s behalf to obtain loans.

Bruce Morris, the attorney for Todd Chrisley, tried to persuade the jury that Braddock, who was granted immunity by the government, may have sent emails from Braddock’s account. Braddock presented the emails to the government and Morris claimed they might have also been falsified. However, the prosecution demonstrated to the jury that fraud persisted long after Braddock and the Chrisleys were dead to each other. Attorney Bruce Morris pleaded before the jury, I suggest to you that Mark Braddock is the very picture of reasonable doubt. It seems that their family is finding the dreadful situation to be pretty difficult. Their custody creates an impact on their two younger children, a nine-year-old granddaughter, and a 16-year-old son who are still living at their house. According to Todd Chrisley, their children along with their granddaughter are coping as best they can. Chrisley went on to say that his children had shed many tears, experienced much grief, and were confused.

Savannah Chrisley, Todd and Julie Chrisley’s daughter, finally spoke up about their legal troubles this past week. She bemoaned how the legal system had failed her parents and how the guilty decision had even led her to doubt her religious beliefs. She said the fight isn’t over and she’s now more upbeat after taking a week off from social media. Lindsay left her followers with a Bible phrase encouraging them to be strong and courageous before quitting the site. Savannah wrote via Instagram later that June she said that she will keep fighting for justice and will stand by her family. She will fight for justice for them and all who have suffered because the system has failed. There are legal limitations on how much she can say at the time. She has recently been let down by God and her persistent prayers have gone unanswered. She does, however, think that he will utilize every chance and difficulty they face to make them stronger and get them ready for an even bigger goal.

For those who have little knowledge about them and their famous show, let’s see this quick recap about them. The Chrisley family show, a reality-based spoof of the 1950s comedy Father Knows Best, debuted in 2014. In addition to his devoted wife Julie, he had strong children Chase, Savannah, and Grayson, lovely granddaughter Chloe, and Todd’s mother Nanny Faye. Todd, who sees himself as an entrepreneur, was hailed as a self-made multi-millionaire real estate developer. When the company moved to Nashville in 2019 and upgraded to a 3.4 million dollar estate, they continued sharing their life with viewers as they had done when they were still residing in Atlanta.

On June 23rd, USA premiered part of the ninth season of their popular show, which was filmed before their trial. Following their convictions, it’s unknown if in the wake of the decision the network would shoot fresh episodes for the recently ordered 10th season. As of now, an insider revealed that the entire family is upset about the verdict. The pair is reportedly startled and considering their options. According to sources, if a judge takes this stance, they could likely receive a sentence of up to 30 years in prison. As a result, the family is currently asking for the judge to side with the light and commute their sentence. Despite this, both of them are hoping the judge will rule in their favor. According to court documents, the Chrisleys wanted to have three additional attorneys join their defense team before their sentencing hearing, bringing up the total number of members on their team. Two of the new hires are experts in entertainment law appeals and criminal defense cases. The couple had previously requested an acquittal after being found guilty.
