It has been about a month since a judge ruled that Julie Chrisley would be resentenced. Her daughter, Savannah Chrisley, has remained hopeful that this will mean that her mom gets released from prison early. However, fans think the Chrisley Knows Best star is delusional. Here’s why.

Julie Chrisley Awaits Resentencing

Chrisley fans know that both Todd and Julie Chrisley were found guilty in June 2022 of tax evasion and bank fraud. They were accused of inflating their net worth to get loans from banks, which led to them obtaining over $30 million in fraudulent funds. On top of that, Julie was found guilty of wire fraud and obstruction of justice.

Julie Chrisley was initially sentenced to seven years in prison. News broke last month that the Chrisley Knows Best star might not have to serve the entirety of her sentence.

Last month, a panel of three judges vacated Julie’s current sentence for tax evasion and bank fraud. The judges from the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals determined that the original judge in 2022 did not sentence her appropriately.

While there was sufficient evidence that Julie was involved in the schemes, there was nothing to show that she was involved before 2007. Now, she has been waiting to be resentenced by a lower court.

At the time, the couple’s attorney Alex Little told Entertainment Weekly, “We’re pleased that the Court agreed that Julie’s sentence was improper, but we’re obviously disappointed that it rejected Todd’s appeal. With this step behind us, we can now challenge the couple’s convictions based on the illegal search that started the case.”

Is Savannah Chrisley Being Delusional About The Timeline?

Fans took to Reddit to discuss the possibility of Julie Chrisley being released from prison early. The original poster pointed out that the court has 90 days to resentence, but they wondered if they’d cut her loose after the 90 days.

“Sassy (Savannah Chrisley) says she is ‘hopeful’ that Julie will be released by Thanksgiving,” one person commented. “There is no indication that this is going to happen. Her conviction was not thrown out. She is still guilty of the crimes she was convicted of. The calculation of her sentencing was vacated. There will be a new sentence calculated.”

Several people commented saying that Savannah was delusional for thinking that her mom would be out of prison before the holidays. “Savannah is pretty delulu generally so I think we can safely assume that she is indeed delulu (where this is concerned),” one person wrote.

Another Reddit user pointed out that Savannah Chrisley’s mom could actually have her sentence increased, though that’s not likely to be the case.

“I am very curious about restitution & hoping Sassy (Savannah Chrisley) don’t get Chloe and Chase hopes up about J coming home for Christmas,” one person pointed out. “That would be a HUGE damn let down for C.”

Of course, she is the adopted daughter of Kyle, but she thinks of Julie and Todd as her mom and dad. While her parents have been in prison, Chloe lived with Savannah.

Savannah Chrisley seems to take her mom’s homecoming very seriously. She and Chloe Chrisley agreed that when Julie Chrisley comes home, they should all live in one house. Savannah said:

People have asked, if mom comes home, if I’m gonna leave. We’re all just gonna live together. Adults try to make a big situation out of nothing really. And so, people have said, ‘Oh, well, then Savannah will just leave when Julie comes home.’ No, because we are used to our life. Mom’s even said she wents me to stay.

Chloe Chrisley begged her sister not to leave, and she looked very relieved that going away is not on Savannah’s to-do list.

Chloe & Savannah Chrisley Talk About How Many Babies They’ll Have

Chloe Chrisley, Savannah’s sister, was recently a guest on her podcast. The 11-year-old and her older sister chatted about when they’d like to start a family and how many kids they’d like to have.

Both Chloe and Savannah Chrisley agreed that they wanted children. In fact, they both said they’d like to have three kids and, more specifically, they know exactly what order gender they’d like to have as well. “Girl, boy, girl,” Savannah said and Chloe agreed, “That’s what I was gonna do.”

Then, after thinking about her choice for a few moments, Savannah said that she wanted to change her answer on the birth order. “Actually… I would rather [have] boy, girl, boy,” she said.

Chloe altered her answer a little bit too. “No. I want two twin girls and a boy,” Chloe told her big sis. Joking, Savannah replied, “Hate to be specific, but yeah.”

Savannah’s Experience Has Changed Her Entire Outlook

This isn’t the first time Savannah Chrisley has opened up about her future plans for children this year. In February, she appeared as a guest on “The Adversity Advantage Podcast.” During their conversation, Savannah admitted that caring for her younger siblings has changed her outlook on things.

When her mom and dad, Julie and Todd Chrisley, were sent to prison, Savannah became the guardian of Grayson and Chloe Chrisley. “I always used to say I will have however many kids God will allow. That was my viewpoint,” she shared on the podcast. “I don’t know, I think when you’re young you think kids are easy, right? No.”

Todd Chrisley’s daughter took to social media to show off her new puppy recently. She shared a reel of herself holding up a cute puppy named Oliver. It didn’t take long for someone to screenshot it and take the discussion to Reddit.

Many people feel bad for the dog because Lindsie Chrisley has a poor track record when it comes to being a good pet owner. This will be her fourth dog and none of the others still live with her. In the past, she has frequently pawned her dogs off on her ex, Will.
